Herd mentality

So many eating dead Cow flesh
Drinking the milk
Not of human kindness
But of herd mentality
Going with the masses
All the worst intentions
Spitefulness and viciousness
All those same sensations

A hundred years of dairy
Of burgers and the like
Of profiteering poor husbandry
A misanthropic hike
And now a wave of veganism
Manufactured by
The meat trades and the dairy trades
With analogues that ply

Dairies making vegan dairy
The meat trade making meat
Analogues of soya and pea
It’s one great cheat
A similar herd mentality
The same vibrations now
Cells grown in laboratories
That did come from the cow

Those honest to good vegans
Who stay away from those
dairy corporations and the Meat trade
This lot chose
ethics and true veganism
Thinking honestly
True to the real alternative
Justifiably

The appreciativeness
Of the ethical
For the animals
Sake
Many small vegan companies
Closed down in the wake
Of the analogues and the dairies
Doing harm
All day
Making profit from killing animals
Doing it anyway.
