August lavender

A state of expectation
Bee’s wings a buzzing away
The flowers have lost most of their pollen
But the laggards are there still
Every day
The scent and the sweet colouration
The infinite buzz near your ear
They clearly have imagination
And visualise still that it’s here
Rhapsodical legendary stories
Told by the old bees before
Metaphorical meanings of sweet
Floral leanings
And That late comers hopeful for more.
