I drive through Ashridge every day
And speeding is a thing
50 miles per hour is too fast
Wild animals should bring
These idiots to their senses
Today a badger dead
a fox
Not very far away
That is what I said
We must think of these animals
Give them the right to pass
Often at night cars go too fast
Everywhere an arse
Thinks they have the right of way
There is no need to speed
Too many animals in the forest
And a lot end up and bleed
Out, out on the roadside
Just because some fool
treats it like a race track
And does break every rule
I think 30 mph
Is sensible for sure
It gives the animals a bit more chance
Our cries why ignore.
