A real sandwich

The dream was an endearment
Reality alas
Resentment and cold anger
A heap a dark morass
All those painful feelings
Indignation too
Acerbity and aggravation
This is what we do
Pile dead bodies higher
Wear the skin and sigh
Gobble up the innards
And thinking about it cry
Salty tears of upset
Wrongdoers yes it be
A vile stack of the tortured
And tears of sympathy
