The Ultra Low Emission Zone

The Ultra Low Emission Zone
On pollution levels hear Kahn groan
Roadside nitrogen dioxide highs
Scant respect discouraging eyes
Looks to the future
Displeased reproach
Biting the tongue
We dare not broach
Over critical, carping high
To deplore such charges
And demand why
The mayor Sadiq’s
Scruopulosity
Seems to reek
Obduracy
And broadening out unrelentingly
Excessiveness really
And punishment too
Confiscatory
Thus we do
Censure the poor
The populace
The grass roots
Traders
Keeping pace
Earned income will suffer
As purveyors see
It reduces the footfall
Exponentially
