Plymouth and Nelson
History was made
Today in 2023
The council made their raid
On trees, on green wild oxygenators
Thrust their almighty axe
Tore the life out of us all
So they are the facts
Plymouth sawed down 100 trees
Manifesting pain
Took out wildness just like that
They really were insane
