It comes across

as utter madness

a government  of low esteem

who disrespects  the history

the evolution and the growing stream

of consciousness  the bedrock really

the absolute and inherent dream

tangible it stood the test

seen as substance all around

Stone Henge’s blistering backbone spirit

outward-looking far and wide

related to the eyes that marvel

its symmetry from deep inside

first in the field and pioneering

a genuine sincerity

Incomparable in all its features

and still innovates successfully

and now the great and good

surmising

a tunnel under one such site

no agreement but many a chorus

conflicting hostile bickering

A303 a political football

bounced around accordingly

what was decided is inferior

a disunion  if you ask me

an unravelling of originality

an undoing and a travesty

leave well alone  embrace the reality

as it stands it’s known to be

The  ediface in its true perfection

it’s what the world at large can see

complete and true within its wholeness

its authenticity and harmony

a culmination of all its ancient

complementing every era

unbroken and undivided it be

indigenous and extragalactic

ancestral place of mystery.
