Cruelty Personified

Blood from the nose horns shaved one side
Stabbed here and there
Chilli’s in eyes
Getting them ready
For out in the ring
With a man in fine silks
Who is thought to be king
Of the matadors stabbing
Cajoling the creep
Watched by the sangria swiggers
Who reap
Torture and teasing
This is where light
Is extinguished for ever
And it’s not right
