Street dogs in Delhi

Street dogs we should pity
Alone most of their life
Pitted against the human
&
the raging strife
The dirt the dust the vehicles
The negativity
The lack of regular food alas
And a true contingency
Having one’s wits about them
Street dogs really need
The moral certainty
