Racehorses and how they enter the next life

Rules and  regulations dont mean a lot, alas

horses all the forces available   how crass

the hideousness and the squalor

these are racehorses and they are

shipped off to the death camps

seemingly to star

in horror of  sick making

wasteage from the track

thoroughbreds alleged to be re-homed

But  on their back

in some rotten  abattoir

as fearful as can be

fully awake and knowing

for others they  can see

really handsome horses

being killed right there

its against all regulations

These sensitives despair

unlike the so called workers

as insensitive as hell a great blemish

on the industry

they profess to know so well

its easy to imagine

whats really going on

the breeders are breeding

many souls

so losers must be gone

even pretty good winners

are shipped off every day

and end up in this hell hole

the  most indelicate display

of evil of  dark torture

of impropriety

they havent got a hope in hells chance

to never ever  see

blue skies or the greenest grass

blood stains drips and guts

commercialised barbarians

the most vulgar of nuts

it is ludicrous behaviour

just a hopeless attitude

callous indiscretions

and they all  are bloody rude

Talking to vets and specialists

lies are everywhere

regulation statistics

all thats in the air

indifference and unconcern

inertia and apathy

they say it doesnt happen

so much, complacency

these animals are suffering

shuddering they be

frightened being electro jabbed

anyone can see

these are really babies

taking the had knocks

terrible reputations

and, yes added shocks

euthanasia they say

is quick death afterall

that is if you want to die

but babies  hear them call

out over the  radio expletives

from the men

the blood bath they are suffering

wondering really when

many beings are thoroughbreds

branded such as we see

no protection nothing

it could  be the end of me

No body protecting us

nobody at all

we are  being humiliated

and bashed against the wall

soaked in other victims blood and guts

a gruesome sight

this is what they do to us

and of course it isnt right.

a three  year investigation

the racing industry

the  corporate world

the Government

the richer  yea we see

decked out in their fancy suits

but they all fail to see

what becomes of us young souls

who run for all our worth

whipped within an inch of life

across mother earth

and all end up in MERAMISTq

a camp of such  repute

many many thoroughbreds

who have won a pile of loot

but all that is disregarded

its now our  time to be

leaving for the  next world

goodbye humanity

what we know about you cruel  sods

haughty as can be

shameless arseoles everyone

rich or poor we see

We , see your bad side

Yes men everywhere

rules and regulations

Nobody  to care

we are here to just be kicked

beaten prodded we

are slaves and all the betting people

are  as bad, you see

and that includes the hoi poi loi

who buy our mince and be

guilty knowing laws are broken

nobody actually cares

Horse Racing offialdom

None of them hear our prayers

They are racketeers the lot of them

getting their cut and they

deny what we are going through

every  BLOODY day

suffering great agony

they kick they prod they slap

nothing is legitimate

its one shit  hole of crap

4000 horses being killed

at least who shouldnt be

we ought to all be re -homed

to a life of luxury

but all the while the carnivores

are chomping on our  friends

to these murdering scumbag

dead flesh mobsters

well it never ends.

You can do something stop gambling  no sweepstakes in the office

sign as many petitions

and  never watch racing on the box
