The Unscrupulous

Hunting on horseback with dogs

at their side

searching for wild Foxes

trying to hide

in a thorny old copse

somewhere

hoping they pass

a whole host of clattering rogues

each fat arse

swollen with roast beef

and Fino  that strong

bouncing through hedgerows

where they don’t belong

breaking the law

caring nothing for those

wild souls stuck out there

hopeful to pose

not a big question mark not any more

why in these peaceful of times

they all want war

hunters love torture love seeing our blood

Vile rotten bastards

they just love to flood

our forests with horses

chasing away

looking to hunt down

their fox of the day

hounds really yodelling

snouts bloodied too

snatching at anything

lost in the dew

where are the coppers

breaking the law

back at the station

what are they there for

thank goodness the saboteurs

are out in force

saving our wildlife

yes at the source
