I ask you to imagine
what goes on in a childs mind
they are eating all unknowingly
genetic foods are lined
up against them poorer kids
probably will see
more of it its awful
in a word a tragedy
America land of the free
purports to understand
allowing as it does
to spread confusion
through the land
That swells into
a meaningful desire to now suggest
a random firing of a alien gene
is yes the best
but do we tell the children
we all are children here
shortvtrousers tousled scrunch hair
and an innocence thats clear
let the Corporations
ride roughshod over all
i beg you as a child alone
to listen when I call
out to you,please listen
i realise how low
we have sunk the bog is ancient
but now ofcourse i know
i beg you to imagine
the poignant thoughts I find
swelling in my bosom
to open in my mind
a chasm of confusion
a tragedy I say
my genuine reluctance to approach the FDA
i ask you to remember
in history we find
sustainable, attainable
reflections intervtwined
against the meek and the innocent
for we have never dared
To replace vlifecwith your arrogance
at least in this we shared
the spirit to continue
genetic paths to tread
I am old now but I cant believe
that you knew how I was fed
i ask you to imagine
what goes on in a childs mind
the genie left his bottle
and has crept up from behind
to alter and to conquer
the free will of those who
put their trust in freedom
and how they will remember you.
