Commercial harvesting

Its a cruel and unhappy industry

killing kangaroos

too many males are shot  to death

the genetic pool we lose

after the biggest strongest males

paid on weight you see

the stress caused to the females

and to the family

wild animals

have family life

and killing affects them all

Man is just unlawful and uncaring

its a trawl

for him the bloody shooters

many are lousy, they

don’t make head shots not at all

when they blow the wild souls away

throats and legs get hammered

tortured by desire

Not  killed outright

hung on rusty hooks

a death thats dire

unlike the greasy shooters

kangaroo’s do feel

their agony is much like ours

and torture for them is real

shot and killed in darkness

the bush is full on heat

Blowflies they are everywhere

and the dust

who can compete

murdering great numbers

gutting them outside

its really very dirty

and nothing is relied

it is unsanitary behaviour

the process in the Bush

refrigerated containers

its too many they push

on rusty hooks, and Salmonella  and E Coli

can

be increasing on the carcass

We need a lifelong BAN.

bacterial infection the risks

are very high

fungal yes and viral, disease

can reach the sky

it can be detected in the dead flesh

and

we sanitise too much around

the killings the fires be fanned

shooters are a lazy lot

causing erosion everywhere

trampling on native plants

many unaware

Causing untold injury

and pain and stress alas

And its all done off camera

Where Most kills are a mess

Another filthy Practice

is the butchering thats done

heads chopped off and legs and tails

to just rot  in the sun

Carrion,  other folk

this is what they do

though many undergo this pain

as they die  and all of you

must remember these are iconic souls

with hearts and souls and feelings too

having family members murdered as they feed

alongside you

its is stressful, its is brutish

to see a mate in vile distress

torment, torture anguish heartache

able to feel tenderness

the dishonesty and darkest  injustice

the corruption and venality

I so feel  for the wild souls honest

the complicit criminality

double-dealing double-crossing

wangling and crooked stuff

the  Meat Trade has a lot to answers

for out there killing is bloody tough.
