A soft pillow

A soft pillow

For the headache

that restful symphony

it becomes spellbinding magic

transforming instantly

its not packed up with feathered down

its ethical and soft

its just so very simple

the old bed

in my loft

relaxing lying quietly

Accepting the relief

leaping off that treadmill

and forgoing

all that grief

Rest the neck and shoulders

dream perchance to say

nestled in that warm embrace

at the end

of a testing day

a motive to relax a while

Drift off  to islands where

the sea laps at your aching feet

a peace

seemingly rare

and fresh ideas come easy

a soft pillow, where

the stress becomes a memory

Beautifully rare.
