Meadow Lark

About the size of a robin

short tailed and small

Her sweet refrain

It be known to us all

a voice bound to lure

the soulful to be

knowing how pure

And Lyrically she

casts her  lamenting

where none dare to go

over the Tor

to the great mists on show

the meadow Lark singing

in the greenery dear

i feel thee heart beating

for my love it is clear.
