KERATIN

Fibrous structural protein
nails feathers And horns
Claws and hooves and of course hair
The animals are pawns
To quackery and nonsense
And for this so many die
The pangolin its scales
Are used
but for healing that’s a lie

It’s historic mumbo jumbo
And it’s killing them off for they
Are beautiful but very slow
And cannot get away
Murdered in their thousands
And no better than our hair
And finger nails for goodness sake
Why are we not aware

Rhino’s being decimated
In Africa we see
How they are persecuted
And it shouldn’t be
Keratin is not a cure all
The CHINESE better see
They are killing off the animals
And it shouldn’t be

Keratin resists digestion
Which is why cats regurgitate
Hair balls they are sensible
They follow a keener trait
Ingesting them as cure all’s
Is naive as we know
Historically the Chinese quacks
Their numbers seem to grow

Spiders silk is keratin
Our own nails and own hair
Why go out poaching Rhino’s
When we have so much there
In barbers shops in nail shops
Scales are not the way
SaVe the poor old pangolin
For a Rainy day
