Vietnam and it’s cat fetish

Misplaced fear is rampant
In Vietnam today
Especially when it comes to Cats
Many people say that they have
Supernatural powers
Inducing mortal fear
And people have misgivings
When they wander near
There is a sort of phobia
Against them which is why
Many say they eat them
Which is why so many die

They use cat parts to heal
Themselves
Cats urine in their ears
Supposed to make them hear better
So much ignorance my dears
Eating spine of cat
Each month improves agility
This is the Mumbo jumbo
They believe it seems to me

They are putting up excuses
For their love of feline meat
They like to eat it at Christmas
For some it is a treat
Others think by eating it
They gain the feline’s power
Which is such a lot on nonsense
And causes quite a row

I hear on social media
And it rightly should
Cats you see are magical
And in fact they should
Always be respected
All animals actually
Eating them and making wild excuses
Is for me

Some sort of intimidation
Hysterical and mad
It’s not the cats that cause this
Its consumers you’ve been had
By the wretched meat trade
The cat butchers who try
And increase the range of flesh on sale
On a rotten lie

It’s the height of nonsense
Eccentricity
It’s really inappropriate
And derisory
Cats are truly masterful
To eat them is a sin
The sort of low life experience
That tends to underpin
The horrific tawdry coarseness
For what is vulgarity
Unrefined inelegance
Which amounts to obscenity.

VIETNAM FOR GOODNESS SAKE
ITS 2020 not 1420
