Halal and Kosher

Killing animals for food
For me it’s not a view
But slaughter men in Slaughter Houses
Are told, what to do
Stun the animals before killing
Or kill them anyway
NO stunning you just cut Their throats
And watch them bleed away

That is Halal and Kosher
Stunning them they feel
Is religiously just wrong
And for them it lacks appeal
The animals must be alive
Must feel the knife and know
They are going to be killed
But we just like to show
Some respect to the animals
By stunning them
So they
do not have to go through
The killing process right away
Animals do have feelings
They get stressed out with fear
Why prolong their agony
For me it’s wrong do you hear?

But noW the British government
They Believe it’s right
Halal or kosher killings
For Parliament and invite
Muslims and the kosher killers
Which to me is wrong
In a country where we
2.7 million Muslims
Now belong

We all must eat halal
For slaughterhouse must
Be
either Muslim or kosher
And the rest of us
Should see

Take Pizza express for example
all chickens are in fact
Halal but unless we ask
We won’t be told
Do we react?
Possibly not just acquiesce
Give in to the few
Seemingly that puzzleS me
