Lockdown anomalies

The countryside management
Have noticed more dead animals around
Knocked down by some speeding cars
Through the forests homeward bound
With very few cars anywhere
Perhaps it’s trucks who feel
Selfish enough to accelerate
And kill the animals zeal
Clearly with less cars on roads
Animals will soon see
And be less careful than before
That does seem likely
And some drones driving vehicles
The self admiration fools
They think they have an axe to grind
And may make up their own rules

Foxes seemingly are being found
And little deers
They are taking on the mercenary
Idea ramping up fears
Among our wild fraternity
The egoistic crap
Foot down all I bloody well hope
Is they will Go through a speed trap

It’s iniquitous behaviour
To go all out to kill
The innocents the wild souls
Drivers who get their thrill
Being over violent
Probably far from home
And the lockdown gives them false hope
Wherever they do roam
And then we get the angry ones
Who all go out to kill
Step on the gas so covetous
I really hope we will
See their amorality
Rewarded in a way
Of wrapping themselves around some tree
So at the very least they pay.
