There he was curled up
BY the side of a shop
Sporting pink walls
Was where he chose to stop
Clearly abandoned
A poodle for sure
Neglected and dirty
Sat on the floor

We put on a leash
And took him Way
To the vet
For a wash
And a neuter
Today
He needed some love
And lots of TLC
His abandonment
Clearly was testing
To see

Since we have been with him
His whole demeanour
Has changed very much
He is strong and leaner
But eating and drinking
And playing lot
and has now been adopted
So a new life has got
