The covetous and mercenary
Arrogance of those
Who cannot seem to appreciate
Wildness and the throes
Of living in the outback
The wilderness angels who
Have loved and preserved
The wonder that’s out there
Good and true
Godliness and the balance
What is the biosphere
The connections the whole food web
Why all life is here
A sharing disposition
A caring attitude
But when arrogance and ignorance
Are rife
That we exude
Dishonesty and an unconsciousness
And an insincerity
We then resort to artfulness
And deviousness and tragically
Rolling out the barbed wire fences
The vicious nasty dangerous points
Out to violate the angels
The innocence to crush their joints
To see them hanging dying bleeding
Suffering in the sun and dust
Prevented from their leaping fReedom
Treated with utter disgust
By the wicked iniquitous uncaring
Thoughtless who
Are so small minded and so selfish
In everything they do
Living in their tiny worlds
Of disrespect and hate
Degeneracy and Flagrancy
Always quick to slate
The wild souls living precariously
In the wilderness where they
If they were living out there
They wouldn’t last a day.
We all need more Samaritans
Who have a heart to care
We need to see more integrity
We need to really share
What god has now presented
Land and sea and air
All the wondrous principles
That now are everywhere
Erecting dangerous fences
Weaponry that will
Tear and wound the unsuspecting
And their blood will spill
These fences built to hurt wildlife
Imagine it will you
Caught up in the evils
Of what the wicked do
Learn to share what god has given
Wildness is the precious key
It unlocks every virtue
Be virtuous of the sanctity
Of thoughtfulness of sharing
Of daring to be true
Will see our path to heaven
So much brighter when we do
Care for all the species
For each other and for those
Who live and die in Nature
In their sweet repose
They do not have our hospitals
Our surgeries no they
Must live the way god taught them
Live the only way
In tune with the wilderness
With instinct and with care
Where everything is connected
And where all the wild ones share
When man erects his fences
And selfishly excludes
The godliness of Wildness
Where true honesty exudes
He then creates his mAyhem
His evil and his dark
Agony and torture
It’s out there cold and stark
The barbed wire fencing devils
Who want the Upper hand
Who want to hear the wild Roos scream
And the Emu’s understand
Where the man erects his fences
Is where wildness cannot be
It’s where man the selfish lives and dies
The transgressor tragically
