Paranormal sightings
haunted houses, they
Creepy night time horrors
That happen so they say
In places back in history
With scenes of terror there
Murders bloodshed butchery
And myriad despair
The unhinged brutal maniacs
And the Body snatchers who
Opened graves at cemeteries
And sold cadavers through
Hospitals and surgeries
Burke and Hare were two
infamous body snatchers
Who did what rotters do
The mind plays tricks on many
And sensitives can be
Frightened by a storyline
Perhaps and apparently
Dwell themselves on such events
That worry and that fright
The darkness and the imagination
Plays tricks on us at a Height
Of expectation really on certain nights
When we
Might have seen some horror
Or were conspired to be
In that certain frame of mind
And it is seemingly
a certain time for seeing
Ghosts apparently
With silence very often
Soundlessness can mean
That we just feel so vulnerable
And a sudden noise machine
Towards the paranormal
The fairy folk maybe
Not a ghost of a chance
So someone said
I guess that it was me
Call up the ghost busters
Intrepid men of steel
Who use equivocation
And false reasoning as real
A paradigm of drama
Of clickishness and more
Who use their sensitive instruments
And it’s our failure to ignore
Their findings for they happen
Coincidence could be
One answer but so many others
There are no answers and we
Are mystified by the paranormal
It goes against the grain
Our knowledge thinks it’s one way
The bewilderment of brain
