Animals created by god providing heat
In the form of a furry skin
Also killed for meat
Trapped or farmed their lives
Are simply down to earth and right
And for great big stores to expose their flaws
And in fact close off their light
Rabbits are loving creatures
Comprising of families who
Show great love and affection
To their offspring yes they do
In many ways are angelic
And the question that I ask
Why would a human family
Take such souls to task
Take advantage of their gifted
Status for their fur
Is created really to keep them warm
That is why they were
granted this protection
So why would such shops buy
Into the pure evil I just must ask them why
We have skin protecting us
and clothing which we wear
We don’t need to strip the skin
From rabbits and then share
Them out and sell them on to
Human beings willing to wear
The dead skin of another
Who died in such despair
A great house that had promised
Not to sell such vile
Clothing then went back on it’s words
A business of such style
Creating an anathema
A thoughtlessness a lapse
An indifference to the angels
With gifted skin that wraps
Around a tiny body
That is there because of time
Designed to give protection
There is no right or rhyme
It’s undutiful and neglectful
To profit from the sale
And cause these souls to die a death
In what is a bloody trail
Of evil disregarding
The honour of the man
Who wears the masks of death
Just because he can.
It sickens me to write about
The illogicalness And pain
What is a contradiction in terms
For me a strain
that’s unwarranted
and misleading
I so feel for those who
Are victims of the improbity
And the clothes you have on view
Collars cuffs and head ware
You seem to sanction death
Murder is a the lowest form
Taking another’s breath
So you can add to your bank account
And breathe life into your sales
On every count you lose my friends
For in essence it so fails
Into insignificance for the ugly
Sights I see
Rabbits and raccoons lying dead
Having reached the misery
Of human beings counting their money
Knowing they
Are responsible for killing
Sweet animals each day
It’s warped and so discriminatory
It’s
Prejudiced and wrong
Wearing fur is ugly
It never should belong
On human beings trying to look good
In their way
Of buying into murder
And there is nothing more to say
