19th of November

A Quito born Princess
With a pedigree that’s true
Quechua origination
Andean through and through
No kinder heart has there ever been
Or can really ever be
What is this amazing women
Doing anywhere near me

The avenue of the volcanoes
The Galapagos and all
The spring flowers in the mountains
Behold the pan flutes call
A kindly gentle people
Weaving ladies who
Grow quinoa almost in the clouds
Soaked in mist and dew

The 19th is her birthday
I wish that I could be
Polishing off her cake with her
But sadly I won’t see
The family and the many gifts
Descending on her she
Happy Birthday Cristina
From everyone and me

Alan will be biking
Victoria as well
Getting her legs into gear
A little bird did tell
It’s supporting men’s problems
I sent my little gift
I hope it helps and wish you all the best
And it will lift

All your lovely spirits
Helping you all to
Run and cycle to wherever
Which is very good of you

Love rex
