For anyone who feels
The need for better mobility
Wheelchairs scooters stair lifts
A wealth of information
And so helpful to me
I met Tom who came and found me
And brought me to the showroom where
Scooters of all sizes and colours
And found me a nice chair
Thoughtful kind and considerate
Especially to my need
Relevant and appropriate
I knew here I’d succeed
So many different vehicles
All there Rows and rows
Handicapped like I am
I am really glad I chose
To come to Meadow mobility
My sixth sense possibly
I drive down water end road most days
Which astounds me actually

I went all the way to Welwyn Garden City
Twice
Both times it was a struggle
and to find this place was so nice
So close and easy parking
And caring and thoughtful they
Went through all the likely problems
In a helpful way
They listened to what I felt I wanted
No rush they let me see
Gentle and methodical
Just really helping me
The pitfalls and the reasons why
Individually personal specifications
Had to be the key

Its quite a nice sized unit
everywhere is bright
A cuckoo clock that moo’s
A novelty alright
That’s the inner child in me
I saw it right away
And I think it moo’d at least 4 times
Whilst I was there today
So all in all an oasis
Truly a great find
Just off Water End Road
It just blew my mind
So many questions answered
So many things to see
And everything entirely clear
What Tom explained to me

And it’s sort of in the countryside
Relaxed I have to say
In many ways idyllic
In a funny sort of way
Potten end just up the road
A pub a village green
A pond with tall bullrushes
I am really pleased to have been
There today I bought a wheelchair
Made by Invacare
The wheelchair will now be made up
To suit me I am aware
It’s new with aluminium wheels
So lighter than before
And Tom went through the specifications
Really making sure

Everything was going to be
Suitable and I
Should choose the appropriate cushions
And of course I had to try
The positioning each aspect
Tom measured it and said
It will be made to measure
My wheelchair coloured Red

Thank you to Tom and to everyone there who helped
Me today
It’s a weight off my mind for hopefully I shall
Be able to manage it by myself unlike what I have had before.
