The bottom line and all that

All sorts of excuses
To hide the abuses
Dairy is scary
For females
Some find
A window to see into
A cows digestion
Fistulated cows
It blew my mind

To see a cow standing there
A hole in her side
A big plastic bung
It can’t be denied
It’s to do with
The bottom line
The margin we hear
Profit and loss
Oh yes now it’s clear

The meat and dairy trade
Need to take stock
See how digestion’s are working
Knock knock
It’s an operation
It’s intrusive of course
But is said to be useful
For what’s at the source

Inspection detection
Digestive ways
Microbes are checked out
Such benefit pays
For me it is wrong
It is selfish and we
Do it because we can
Which seemingly

Happens a lot these days
Veterinary schools
Do it I hear
For me it breaks rules
Opening the rumen
And removing a piece
Of stomach it’s wrong
It Shows up the fools
And all sorts of excuses
To hide their abuses

“There is no excuse for animal abuse
There is never an excuse for animal abuse
Whoever you are wherever you are
Your karmic debt
Is bigger by far”
