Sealskin boots

Sealskin boots
Imagine that
Battered babies
Is where you are at
Clubbed to death
Beside their mama
And wearing boots
Makes you a star

The blood and guts
Each frightful scream
And you believe
Seal boots just seem
Wonderful for you to wear
It’s a frightful crime
Of humanity
On the ice floes
Such depravity

Canada’s wish to kill them all
And flog their bleeding pelts
A wall
Of shame before us
Babies tears
How they struggled
All their fears
Brought to account
As the cudgels crashed
Down on their heads
They were bashed and bashed

Puking out milk
Mixed with blood
Larcenist rogues
Thud after thud
Baby seals all murdered there
Their mothers crying in such despair
And you make your boots
Up of their skin
Which has to be the greatest sin
