Bushmeat

In Africa
The people are the culprits
The taste of the domesticaled souls
Do not become as sought after
As the wild souls of the forest
Huge quantities are being killed
Whose roles
Fed into biodiversity and environments
And what we see today is sadly hard
To really get our heads around the outcome
To know to think to write down as a bard

What is truly happening to animals
The precious souls out in the wild domain
Laws are there but barely are reported on
In many ways the whole thing is insane
There is a cost to future generations
Who will not even see live creatures they
Will all be eaten up for its unsustainable
To kill and murder animals this way

Hunters from the forest know the forest
Hunters from the cities what do they know
Poachers there are many and when its about money
The jungle gets forgotten it cant grow
The way it did for money talks and profits
Are metered out when natives are given guns
And told to kill as many as they ever can
Then ofcourse they all just get the runs

Its then earning money they forget the biosphere
They forget just how sustainable it all is
It is clear
Bushmeat is the protein that Aficans admire
Apes and Elephant and Porcupines
And bush pigs for with fire
They get the tastes they are after
The poor old chimpanzee is dying like the clappers
Which of course it shouldn’t be

Logging camps are one thing
Those men within them they
Are guilty of the rise in bushmeat consumption
for each day
This is what is happening
Vast numbers being killed
Sold in markets and in cities
A lot of blood is spilled

In Australia the kangaroo
Is a angel from the bush
And its now taken commercially
Lamped out there at night
Bush meat is considered
By the locals now to be
So much better than the CAFO
Concentrated where they see

Them Loaded up sith chemicals
No the wild food to eat
Just a lot of artificial rubbish
How they cheat
the system
With their hormones antibiotics and the rest
Whereas bush meat is organic
And is seen to be the best

Lizards cane rats
Duikers even Gorillas too
Are shot and killed in Africa
Tons of it its true
Its becoming fast impossible
To keep with it all
Africa is dying fast
And its rather hard to call

The shots of life and the environment
Failing by the day
The simian tribes are reeling
Most do know dismay
Shot to death and dried out
And flogged in markets where
All sorts of natuve people come
The forest life to share.
