Norway and the minke whales

Apparently Norway is having a bad time
Flogging its whale everywhere
Heavily subsidized costing a fortune
And unquesionably cruel
The despair

Is clear to be seen
From the masses
Nobody really is keen
But that doesnt stop them from killing the whales
And The men are particularly mean

Trying to boost sales they target the young
Go to the big music scene
With gastly whale burgers
And sushi making out
sometimes its green

Unlabelled in places yes a surprise
In skin care in face creams
In pet foods whose eyes
Are brightened by using whale oil oh dear
Given to tourists too
It does appear

Up to a 1000 whales killed every year
They dont make the targets
But still it is clear
They really love killing them
The carnage the pain
This year a big increase
Although its insane

The markets dropped out of the
Lets Eat some whale
It does turn the stomach
The great bloody trail
of sinews and gut
And the cries everywhere
These are so beautiful
Why norwegians dont care

They skipped out of the moratorium
Apparently they
Dont listen to dictats
They have their own way
Iceland the faroes and norway
And japan
Would continue to whale
With what ever ban

They present day norseman
Whatever we say
They will do something different
Even if it dont pay
They are losing money
That is for sure
But in themselves they are not happy
Unless they are at war

So the minke whales will be hunted
To extinction
Even if they just throw the flesh away

Thats their medieval type philosophy
