Stephen Hawking

We all have imperfections
It was something that he felt
But it fuelled his determination
Which obviously spelt
The need to be deliberative
And speculatively
cerebrate the scope of time
And by association see

An Independent quotient
A physicist he was
Able to distinguish
In a lighter vein
Because
Such consciousness apparent
In a time earned mental sphere
The science of cosmology
Something he held dear

In the grip of motor neurone disease
His grasp and profundity
Apparent in the context
Of what it was to be
Who he was and why he was
able to create
Safety which anatomically
Was altogether great

A place where he felt he wanted to be
Considered and in tune
Deliberatve and reflective
To time and to cocoon
Himself in what was fluidity
Cosmology and beyond
Into the realms of black holes
And his subconscious bond

A scientist in an exceptional place
Where psyche and the mind
Form a complete consciousness
A capacity thats lined
With reason and intention
And an instinct to create
And conceive through mindful wanting
A speculative debate

The world has lost a quiet man
a genius who inspired
Who reached so many cultures
With his lightness
He has fired
And offered many morsals
For those thinkers left behind
Encouraged by his example
To open up their mind
