Takifugu or little puffer fish

The reef is full of life
Thats multi coloured
Conspicuous in every single way
In Japan there is a puffer fish
Tiny and hardly noticed
Just very plain although this I can say
I am sure deep down he wants to be kflambuoyant
Spotted striped or coloured azure blue
But he has certain gifts to please a partner
He makes sculptures out of sand
Both good and true

It takes a week of digging with his tiny fins
Round and round in circles he does go
Creating on the sea bed a beautiful rosette
And then ofcourse to his lady he will show
She gives it the once over, and may ask for some changes
He will then oblige and make a nest
What he lacks in looks he packs in his engineering skills
His artistry is certainly the best
