Macaques of Thailand

Southern Thailand
Sees the limestone cliffs rise to the sky
The Andaman sea as blue as blue
And its there macaques they fly
Up sheer cliffs with old man babies
Wrinkled codgers they
Hang beside their mothers
Whose no spring chicken anyway

Nothing to cling onto
Wizened and looking grey
Seemingly on borrowed time
Juveniles who play
Who must be having kittens
For the danger really does
Open up their horoscope
And just give them a buzz

Prehensile tails like real strong rope
Its like another arm
Potent and prevailing
Whist mother seems so calm
Capable and adequate
She rises to the rock
Effectual and cogent
With Each limb she does lock

They have worked with the humans
And clamber down to where
Tourists come and the dear maquackes
Showing no despair
Cool off in the fountains
In the heat of the day
Clearly a good relationship
Which is why they are set to stay
