Tourists in iceland

Iceland makes a fair old bit of money
Taking tourists out to watch the whales
Most of them are Minke in whale terms kind of dinky
Thoughtless though for really where it fails
Is these same tourists watching in the mornings
Are eating the same animals at night
How is this an ethical state of reasoning
So its tourists eating whales there and how is that right?

Icelanders dont want whales on the menu
It makes no sense to kill them anyway
Whale watching is big business
Ofcourse it makes more sense
So many tourists go out everyday
Americans are watching and then eating
Whale steaks and french fries seem to be the thing
Inconsiderateness appears to be a factor here
It really is illogical to bring
Families to these restaurants in the evening
And eat the very animals that you came
To watch out on the ocean it doesnt make any sense
And really the icelandic resturants are to blame

Clearly its not part of the peoples diet
Only philistines would eat it they
Eat fish and other sea foods
Of course they do
But whales are not for eating anyway
Really its absurd that tourists do this
And lots of whales are being killed now so
Tourists can eat whale steaks with their ketchup
And go home telling friends now what they know

Its lunacy to imagine them as food upon your table
At the same time pay to watch them in the sea
Tourists are deranged to go along with this
They really need to get some therapy
If you are planning to go across to iceland
Remember the icelanders wont eat whale
They realise the senselessness of killing a cash cow
Do go and watch them bask and flip their tail.
