Sea birds

The tory hordes may fall
On their swords
But only the sea birds will cry
Thats my response
To the news of the day
The malignancy came from the sky

They did have the worst of intentions
Negatives at every turn
Diggin the countryside
Wasting pure water
Destroying the air
Its denied

Destroying the potable water
Their spitefulness how can it be
In the boardrooms they gloat
Because they devote
Their lack of concern
Happily

The benevolence GAIA
Had given
Freely and with love and care
Was thrown back in their faces
By the tories
Whose destructiveness wanted to share

They paid a disservice to people
Creating the victims and they
Bled in their gardens
They choked in the parks
The torture was well underway

Ill-natured unkindly and hostile
The fracking companies they
Unsympathetic unmoved and inhuman
They called the shots come what may
The police flagged in yellow aggressively
Told us to sod off and leave be for we
Were local to where the great frack pads were coming
And that was the new energy

My anger is not just for the moment
Its deep in my liver and bile
Those tory MP’s now scoffing their cheese
In the counting house should soon stand trial
And will when humanity is reconvened
Where all of us then have to go
As our children are poisoned
Drinking the water
And choking hard on the air flow.
