Beings

Evolution was built up
By love for each other
Instinctive programming
Built in to try
A realization and respect
For all beings
The philosophy of existence
Well grounded and high

We should coexist and endure
One another
Share whats on offer
In actual fact
Respect the physical
Essentially always
With soul and with vision
Methods attract

The human being
The animal being
Each knows existence and
Historicity
That is the innate bedrock of learning
A real true regard
And a fait accompli

Carnivores mostly
The human being
Eats animal beings
Believing they be
Put here to give us
The kind of nutrition
That we humans need
To remain ever free

The vegetarian being
Created shunned all dead flesh
but required to be nursed
A bodily fluid designed
For its offspring
Murdered I ask
Why are some beings cursed?

The vegan steps up to the plate
Free of corpses
Free of the bodily fluids
As well
Deriving their food from the plants
Which have substance
Life and the light forces
Creating that spell

That mindful ambition
That inner control
The need for good balance
Pinned to the whole
A casual divergence
Respect from within
A great inner love
And a fire for each other
Making this ethos
One to underpin

Compassion a quality
Along with empathy
Proving each being
Is as are we
Created with life force
And an understanding
Of our true relationship
To longevity

Each has a place
And that place we must feel
Respect to elect smaller places to be
Habitat loss the minutest kingdom
The oceans so wide
Where Our need is to free

Ascendancy which beings
Move ever higher
To look down on us
They from afar
Where is the fusion the bond
To discover
Equals on this planet
Yes we all are

The rights of the animals
They must be given
Respect not unlike
The human young who
Refuse to respect the elders
Around them
Because they are seen
As dull and thus hardky true
They may not be so switched on
To all that is digital
But may have better judgement
And reasoning too

Animals apparently retain respect
For their elders
One sees and one can detect
This basic maxim is an obvious choice
Its made up of experience
And does give good voice
To the honest conviction
To a basic composure
And to lasting relationships
With much less friction

They do not have a currency
All that they do
Is truthfully what they are
Expected to
Its love for the practical
Its caring about
The world that they live in
Wherein there’s no doubt
