FASHION The passion thereof

It makes no sense
At all to use
The abuse of animals who
Creation gave them a thicker skin
In cold climes this is true

Human beings fashion statements
Really to beguile
Do not need
To kill animals
For skin for to defile

Its gruesome and immoral
Its from another age
The passion of a fashion
Need not be off the page

The cruelty the malevolence
The scandal that is fur
The wrongheadedness and the outrage
That does now occur

It is a true unfairness
An inequity and we
Must find its reprehensible
To dress injuriously

We are not made more beautiful
By slaughtering young friends
By ripping off their created skin
The message that this sends

Is one of such inappropriateness
Of encroachment and of wrong
We must respect the innocent
For its where we all belong

Adoration should be of the living
Not the murdered remnants we
Torture all those animals
Who should and must be free

There is a lack of principle
And insincerity
By murdering created animals
Its infidelity

Its cruelty personified
Its totally unfair
How can we be more beautiful
Than creation who does share

Their beauty on their bodies
Our hair we tend to shave
So selflessness and justice
Those animals we must save

Fur is for the animals
Creation made that so
And abusing them with torture
Simply for to show

Us in their many bodies
Draped in blood and fur
Is shabbiness and abjectness
And in fact we never were

Supposed to be so cruel in fact
To trap and slaughter those
Who live and die in colder climes
Not because they chose

To be there they were put there
Thats their chosen place
They need warm fur and badly
And our theft is a disgrace
