The oracle

A raven made a prophecy
Supposedly a while ago
He sat and watched a thousand men
Dragging sarsons through the snow
Stone henge on a grassy plain
He thought that they were
All insane
But watched and learned
And remained concerned
And apparently we still don’t know
How they did it these science bods
Say this or that
Rollers and rods
Levers taps and gravity
But only the raven was there to see

So science heads have no idea
Besides they quarrel you can hear
Whoever pays them calls the tune
So maybe they did come from the moon
The oracle the great black bird
Who will spill the beans for some lemon curd
