Terribly expressive faces
Sensitive beyond belief
Fruitarians for most part
Which is a relief
Living on these limstone casts
Peering out to sea
Makes for amazing climbers
Out of necessity
Below them on the true land
The buddhists temples tend
To capably exist there
From there aromas send
Upwards and the monkeys
Often make the climb
To share the glorious gifts of love
And the passing of time
In streams nearby they wallow
In the heat that rules the day
In the swishing water
They while their hours away
The compassion of the monastries
Is shared by all around
And the rhesus monkeys
Get the attention
And are always bound
To visit when they are hungry
For they are never turned away
Always fed and watered any given day
I said that they were climbers
Without ropes it can be
Really incredibly dangerous
One slip and you are in the sea
But these amazing souls apparently
Almost none that I know
And so the relationship of mAcaque and monk
Seemingly does grow
And with respect comes honour
And the monkeys rarely steal
They come and ask for favours
Their manners are for real
ThAt really tells us something
That its probable that man
Encourages bad behaviour
It is us so it began
With man un kind not the animals
Who have the right Idea
And that Selfishness and theft is not a trait
That they hold dear
