Did it come from RUTLAND or BATH

Its housed now in Cannon Street
In the city of London where
This block of Clipsham oolitic limstone
Is there for all to share
Part of a stone circle
Or palace pillar it
Sits there feeling lonely
And I am sure it is a bit

In this frantic city
With vehicles everywhere
It probably hears St PAuls from time to time
Despite how rare
It is few people see it
In its cabinet for they
Are far too busy working
In the great city today

Situated at 111 Cannon Street
