Other peoples Children in an adult world
They are all around us
Like us they too are hurled
Into the revolution
That facebook/twitter life
Where some have i pads lap tops i phones
And some have only strife
Our cast offs when we have had enough
Or the corporates feel our need
Go out a buy the latest gadget
Only then will you succeed
In rubbish tips around our world
Great heaps of digital grief
Of plastics bags and bottles
It all beyond belief
Landfills change our countryside
Into pits of hell
And this will all be smouldering there
For thousands of years
Know well
The creatures of the earth
For some of the stuff thats there
Is full of toxic metals
And on going despair
And in this violent melee
These mountains that attract
Vermin and our children too
For them that is a fact
They are recycling everything
Thats possible to sell
Unaware of the toxins
Also Under the corporate spell
And cherry blossoms line the streets
In Fukushima town
Avenues of aromatic blossoms
A great gown
of beauty
In a city destroyed by nuclear power
The great clock in the sky is clicking
Hands moving on the hour
And now there are no children there
They were taken aWay
To quietly accept their thyroid cancer
That will get them come what may
The other kids in Africa and India
And elsewhere
searching through the rubbish tips
The toxic loads to share
These are the children these are to be
The next generation
Sleeping in the streets already
a great wall of inflation
Of prejudice of animal rights
Of women rights and more
Of wifi radiation
And the corporate rule of law
I do not envy humanity
For what it has become
I just feel for the children
Whose parents have been made dumb
By the GM foods and glyphosate
That is already killing bees
I do feel for the children
Who will have no guarantee’s
Of anything thats different
The robots and the poor
And all played out in plain sight
Just outside our door
too too sad Rex
makes me cry
Tears we share i will write some happy poems later
I am going off to see that man on the street give him some whole foods which i shall buy for him
On the street the homeless man
