Taiji’s decision can be grotesque

Yesterdays accomplishment of Taiji
TRophy Hunters
Was to catch a pod of Pilot Whales
And trap them overnight
Mothers with their babies
With older sons and daughters
Left to thinking whether being brought
ashore was right

The chaos and the trauma
Of the banging boats
Was evident
Countermanding all their skills
And giving them little chance
Despite their wide experience
The plot was clearly lost for them
Death and its finality
Had left them in a trance

Imagine how a mother seeing
her baby taken in a boat
And as her eyes perceive
That
She is killed
the babies now so traumatised
They realise their mother
They will not ever see her
They swam in the blood she spilled

And they are being dumped
Because they are too small
It takes a peculiar intellect
To actually Go and do this
For the babies really have
No chance at all

Its impossible to survive
Without their mother
for no one will protect them
Anywhere
A mother died in agony
Knowing that her child
Would die a very unnatural death
Out there in the wild

Gobbled up by a shark for sure
And these miracles that We
Witness and then write about
makes me hate Taiji

For their total lack of understsnding
Its lamentable to know
Where was their equilibrium
So far out of the flow
Or are they so impassive
And honestly do not care
Or Do they think they are saving them
I just wish they would share
