FUKUSHIMA

Contaminated water
Leaking
Into the sea

The Pacific gets a dousing
All that toxicity
The Cesium the strontium
The tritium all there
The iodine and plutonium
In the water in the air

To have lived in Fukushima
Or even Tokyo
The hot spots they are everywhere
Everywhere you go
They do not smell
They do not taste
Invisible they be
But they are killing children
And if I lived there they would kill me

But it’s not just in Japan alas
With plutonium out there
One pound of it would kill us all
It drivs me to despair
There is no one of stopping it
It’s forever and a day
Once it’s in the atmosphere
We are doomed we all will pay

What beats me is the science
And the technology
The governments around the world
So ignorant for me
They cannot see the writing
On the proverbial wall
Nuclear is disastrous
Each accident does appal

The clean up of the nuclear waste
The risks are terribly high
We clearly care not for the children
And their children but why?
Do we allow the governments we vote in
To carry on
Down the road to disaster
Where most of them have gone

The cost will be enormous
Unfathominable in fact
And all of it is not insured
How do we react?
Those people in Fukushima
Those men who gave their lives
Just fodder in a brand new war
Where everybody strives

To make ends meet but clearly
What we are seeing here
Is contaminated water
With all its awesome fear
Pouring into the ocean
Every single day
Killing all the organisms
All along the way

And it’s reached into Canada
And the USA a millionth of an ounce
Will kill one person right away
And there is at least 1000 kilos
Possibly to fly
And if it does everyone on earth
Is going to die

That risk that cost precludes us
Ever saying nuclear power
Is and should be utilised
For living by each hour
Who dares take the risk
When solar, and waves and water
Is out there and can be
Used to give us what we need
Cleaner energy

To plump down onto nuclear
Tells me that they need
To depopulate this world of ours
They wish to see us bleed
That’s the actually message
That’s coming through to me
And the creation of storms and tsunami’s
Why is it we don’t see

That writing clearly on the wall
And for children still we try
To have and bring up clearly
When Many are going to die
With cancer ratings higher
This radiation cloud
Clearly can be anywhere
We are being over powered

FUkushima was a risk too far
And many are dead and gone
And many more will suffer
TEPCO knows this really Out upon
The land and ocean lied or failed
To tell us all the facts
And now we find out just how bad it is
Who can relax?

Basically we have had it
And there’s nothing doctors can do
Most of them will get it
Clearly it is true
It takes a while but the younger ones
Are going to have to see
That many of them will develop
It by at least 40

And everyday it’s getting worse
And no one seems to care
Open the window suck in
Some breaths of pure fresh air
Walk out in the falling rain
And with it comes the force
We all are now bombarded
By toxins from the source
