Mexican Dolphinaria

Its come to be
Out of the sea
Into the Mexican
Dark psyche
What has unfolded
Terribly
US dolphins in
Captivity

Their freedom vanished
At a stroke
Their families lost
Everything broke
Around them
Their whole family tree
Torn down
For eternity

In all we hear
3000 souls
Are in the hands
Now of the trolls
Their suffering
Cut to the quick
And observing it
Just makes me sick

The trauma and paralysis
Disturbs them so
Vague and vacant
As we know
These are intelligent
Mammals who
Are worthy of so much more
To do

Kept in really tiny pools
Chlorinated by the ghouls
Its entertainment lets all swim
With dolphins right up to the brim
Of life lets take them for a ride
Who cares really if one died
They pay the price and exact a lot
And happy the dolphins just are not

Trapped and fighting
Propelled away
They are just novelties
Every day
Soaked in human sweat and grease
All they want is to gain their release
But all they know is the sweaty smell
Of drunken oafs straight out of Hell

No identity no none at all
They can chew the bars and butt the wall
It drives you crazy to just be here
Camouflaged by the constant fear
No reparation just a prison cell
And frozen herring phew that smell
Antibiotics to wash it through
And a big dose of that prozac too

We are the clowns in the circus ring
Disrespected of everything
Our disunion with all we know
Made worse by being in the flow
We have no bond with the Mexican lot
From their point of view
We can just rot
Stop sharing air just fade away
They wouldn’t care
So many say

It takes advantage time for them
They are deranged there is not a gem
Of sparkle in our boring lives
Captivity though it just thrives
So much ignorance of our scene
Imagining we are a machine
Fish like but just here to serve
These Mexicans have got a nerve

The repetitiveness it does us in
The cumulativeness its one big sin
A chain reaction progressing to
A sort of pageant All they do
Non stop randomness every day
Us dolphins really have to pay
Our lives are shortened by all of this
Which is truthfully so far from bliss

Conforming to the status quo
Those drilling crowds the private show
The drunken idiots fully dressed
Jump in with us and make us stressed
We suffer so much yes we do
Our skin gets cracked and very few
Are helped here its all suffer and more
Without a future and thats for sure
