Turkey

Taking my turkey
Out for a walk
A glass of something
On the swings we talk
Down the steps
Into the park
On the bench
We made our mark
Over the cobbles
We both hide
A reddish sky
We both confide
In each other as
The night birds sing
A friend in deed
Is everything

A cup of seed
We chat a while
Probably
We walked a mile
He by my side
Together we
Are one of the same
And that is key
A lovely sunset
A memory
Of our walk together
Just Him and me

Remember my friend and don’t eat one like him
At Yule. Thank you
