Sea Worlds dirty secrets

Another former trainer has begun
To spill the beans
Clearly they are beside themselves
Expected to be machines

Not able to expose the truths
The brain washing that goes on
When you work at Sea World
And afterwards when you are gone

Keeping captured killer whales
Is really a mean feat
These are massive sensitive souls
Really the elite

Of cetacean creatures
Their need greater than some
And expecting them to perform
As slaves
In a tank that makes them glum

Is really expecting a lot
From them
Despite their true blown deal
You allow them to keep us as slaves
Do tricks and pretend we are real

And for that we shall enslave you and feed you
On dead fish
And the ocean will have to be your dream
That is their long term wish

Clearly in close proximity to others
Its a mistake
Their anger and frustration
Really is no fake

They do attack each other
Strip skin off rake their foe
And leave skin at the bottom of the tanks
As we all know

Trainers often take it home
As a souvenir
Sicko’s if you ask me
Another’s skin oh dear!

Why would anyone want that
It seems so strange to me
But then working at Sea World
With its utter infamy

They take it out on wild birds
Tearing them apart
Not because they wish to eat them
Just expose their heart

They tear them into pieces
That is what they do
It isn’t that they are playing
Its just their anger bursting through

At times before Dawn was killed
As trainers we would be
In the water with them
All their energy

You could actually feel it
They were aggressive too
It was frightening to be there
You sensed they wanted you

They were slowly going bonkers
A creature that can swim
100 miles a day you see
In these tanks they grow dim

There is no interaction
No plant life nothing lives
They swim in their own excrement
And Sea World never gives

Them freedom and the ocean
And so they suffer so
And thus get the sedation pills
And those numbers grow

Beluga’s and the dolphins are drugged up
Everyday
We got no protocols to speak of
When swimming with them, they

Clearly didn’t view us as friends
That we could feel
They were always after us
Which they never did conceal

Mothers killing calves it happens
Ruby was one soul
She tried to kill her first born
And her second not a role

Any mother wants in life
But the third one it was her
She died she had suffered
As many will concur

NANUQ was aggressive
he had broke his jaw
And it became infected and he died to
We were sure

He was mighty angry
contained, he hated it
And Sea World all they ever talk
Is really so much shit

Take the little penguins
they are close to you
The public and of course the public
we wonder why you do

So many really thoughtless things
Like heaving pennies where
Penguins are going to see them
and eat them
Be aware!

Many now have surgery
to remove them from inside
It is very stressful for them
and of course some have died

Shoes and maps even cameras
dropped into their pool
And penguins they will eat them
all sorts one and all

Stressed out going mental
they cannot stand the heat
Being so close to screaming kids
clearly does unseat

Their nerves they get in a tangle
they are suffering so
And those ones in colder water
they don’t want to know

Its a total unnatural habitat
and it so affects their poise
They go through life in Sea world
minus all their joys

Its all down to the breeding
its happening all the while
Its increasing stock values
so far off the dial

The animals cannot cope with it
its too much and too soon
Living in these little tanks
they get so out of tune

They are wild wild creatures
From oceans far away
Under the sky how can they try
To live here and to play

They cant they really hate it
all their pent up desire
Curtailed by concrete walls
creating in them fire

Its alien existence
its pressure all life through
All their in built knowledge
constantly coming through

Its instinct they cannot adapt
And they cannot transfer
And so they spend hours swimming around
in circles
As it were

We really have to understand
the Sea World mentality
Its about making money
its a wind up cant you see

They go on about knowledge
and myou coming here to learn
But actually
They are prisoners
And all of them are on “burn”

When you support Sea world
You do the animals harm
They really need to close their doors
What they need is calm

All this
frantic slavery
That happens every day
Is far removed from real life
And of course all of them pay

A high price for our tactics
Our really awful ways
We truthfully are killing them
They are joyless all their days
