The biggest elephant ever seen
Was killed the other day
Shot to death by a German Hunter
He made that giant pay
For being a real old soul
With tusks down to the ground
With a heart a million times greater
Than the German
Who if he had one would have weighed
A half a pound
Zimbabwe will be happy
So I heard they said
Happy that an iconic beast
Is well and truly dead
What a bunch of layabouts
The Government and the rest
For not protecting these animals
That give us all such zest
And what becomes of the ivory
The hunters and the farm
Whoever had the right to sell
This elephant and harm
Such a beast it beats me
The value that is paid
For an animal of such an age
Who unfortunately strayed
To where some bloody hunter
Thought he would bag himself a prize
These psychopaths are everywhere
Nothing between their eyes
No third eye and born heartless
Their soul where will it go
Hopefully into a dark place
Where not even the crow
Would taste its bitter relish
The vultures too would be
Giving it a big wide berth
For all eternity
Hunting is an anathema
A wickedness gone wrong
The enormity of sin and pain
Actually doesn’t belong
And all these backward people
Who rubber stamp such pain
And watch their tourist attractions
Fall in the evening rain
Crash down 50 years of life
Shot with a ball of steel
These hunters need to have the gun
Turned on them for real
May the Goddess help this planet … Blessed be Rex.
One day the goddess will wake up and strike k these bastards to kingdom come
It hurts, doesn’t it. WE are destroying everything. WE are killing the world.
