Blackfish

You call us the blackfish
But mammals we are
Degrading us down to a fish
It does scar
Our right to be treated
More respectfully
The fish in your bowl
Is not where we should be

The feminine influence
Teaches us we
Respect the great mother
Who lives in the sea
Matriarchal systems
Operate there
Instinctive behaviour
We are so aware

We are apex predators
Hunters for we
Have no supermarkets under the sea
We are wild our digestion is built on the fact
That its live food we need
Nutrient packed

You human people eat dead food we know
But thats not our way
Its not how we grow
You have great group
You call corporates and they
All rule your roost
And make you pay

You clearly have very small brains
For we
Are abused by some of you
When you want to see
Us in a tank of your making close by
The sea often where you expect us to fly

You expect us to be slaves to you
And your team
Capture us throw away freedom
And seem
To expect us to join in
Entertaining the fools
Who believe your philosophy
Inside your walls

You feed us dead fish
And you drug us as well
All sorts of chemicals
Big Pharma hell
Thats what we know about
Thats what you sell
And of course we grow sicker
And weaker each day
From your fucking abuse
Yes making us pay

But you are not the piper
Nor the pipers son
You are inadequate to our lives
When the day is done
You are full of greed and squander
Our lives mean less to you
Than anything we contend with
When we are not in view

Calling us a blackfish
Was a native estimation
The factor we are not fishes
We just feel not elation
Even for the film you made
For in fact it gave the wrong
Impression to your masses
That somehow we might belong

In a tank to oggle at
To control us and to see
That as prisoners we do what you want
And in fact we be
Ready to do all your tricks
Work yea for no pay
Except a bucket of dead fish
Yea along the way

And have your bloody trainers
Ride us and seemingly
Think that they can control us
Apex predators of the sea
Consigned to your hell everyday
Sees our anger grow
If only they could feel our pain
If only you could know

How sweepingly obvious
It is that you lot seem
To walk around in fairyland
Imagining its a dream
Its hell here in your sea world
Its hell for us to be
Contained in side this fucking soup
Of our own shit and pee
