Amy “Back to black”

Its remarkably relaxed
A guitar and a voice
Its all very simple
Her clothes and the choice

Of how she will do this
Guitars on the wall
Its all very casual
For those there, they all

Got that clear message
That voice from the soul
Those eyes really sparkling
This was a role

She played and enjoyed it
Hand in pocket she showed
Some blusher a necklace
But everything flowed

Back to black all feeling
Drawn out of her heart
“We only said goodbye”
With those words to impart

You could feel the emotion
Stirred up well inside
She felt it profoundly
But was there for the ride

At the end some applause
A sweet smile yes she knew
This was a rendering
sombre yet true

Pulled out of her being
In her relaxed style
Just a piece of art history
Made in a while

Around the edges was sadness
A confidence too
She enjoyed this performance
It just seemed so true

And the smile at the end of it
Just a bit coy
Still young and expecting
A season of joy

Peace has she found peace
Alone in her soul
Wherever she is resting
Her music was whole

It was her you can see her
In your minds eye
She had that aura
Which will never die
