Today’s demo in Piccadilly

Outside the embassy was cordoned off
And the middle section too
Supposedly health and safety
That is what they do
Contain us in this elongated box
So we don’t stray
400 or so protestors
Were there to mark the day

The first day of the dolphin hunt
In the infamous west coast spot
That is really into whaling
And eating them a lot
Dolphins yes and porpoises
And pilot whales will die
And the pretty ones sold off
To Sea World and made into slaves
Which is why

We all get together in our super duper pod
And make as much noise as we can
Asking whatever god
To realise that slaughtering
Of whole pods isn’t right
How can that be culture
Its murder
Watch them fight
And its done in front of all of them
But the fishermen don’t care
They are a heartless bunch of ruffians
And not one of them aware

The people are kept in the dark
They too are unaware
A bit like fukushima
Radiation everywhere
But the Japanese don’t know this
And nobody can tell
Them they are living on a time bomb
A conduit to hell

They talk up their traditions
Their need to eat the meat
Don’t worry about the mercury
Remember its a treat
And treats can be toxic
But no matter it is whale
And the world has banned us killing them
So its for research our trail

Leads into the sancturies
Chased by sea shepherd’s crew
And they are slaughtered anyway
Thats what japan must do
The meet today
The meet today was boisterous
Lots of klaxon horns
The police I note were wearing ear plugs
Finally it dawns

On them and in the embassy
That we mean business we
Will never stop protesting
Until they stop it in Taiji
The police today were friendly
They came across the street
And mingled and they joined in
Some have got huge feet
Tall all shapes and sizes
Beards and tattoo’s too
We made a lot of noise today
Which is what we are there to do

The Japanese seem adamant
They are going to carry on
They are going kill the dolphins
Till all of them are gone
All their playful temperaments
All their wondrous joy
The Japanese will kill it off
With the means that they employ

Today you couldn’t say a lot of visitors
Came to the embassy I think we do
Put them off so business is disrupted
And that shows that we are doing stuff
And thats what its about
Tokyo will realise this too

Its didn’t rain the sun came out
A bit too so that was good
Lots and lots of traffic
Then of course it should
Be busy all around there
Hyde Corner and the rest
Another demo over
For noise one of the best
