Dolphins and their rights

The governments around the world
Give rights to humans who
They say can think and feel and care
But we do not care or do
Anything for the dolphins
They are free of rights today
So anyone can bag them
And just take them away

Hence the reason why the Japanese
Believe their right
Is to kill as many of them
Turn their day to night
And they go out from Taiji
Some 24 fisherman every day
Out into deep water
With their pipes
That is the way
Those dolphins have been using those path
For maybe a million years
And the fisherman they know this
They manipulate those fears

A wall of sound then pushes them
With the boats in tow into the cover for slaughter
Thats drive fishing you know
On the northern shores
More dolphins are herded and are killed
The emphasis is on Taiji but more and more
Are hurled into death around the coasts
That actually in Taiji
Its just they are targets
And they play on that and be

Open if you like about it
But quietly yes elsewhere
Thousands more and murdered
Such ugly despair

China KoreA and Russia
Thailand Turkey and Taiwan
Saudi Arabia Iran and the Philippines
None of this is fun
Its torture and its frightening
For everyone concerned
The drive hunts are just terrible
And its about time that it turned

Full circle let us save them
We have to try and win
These migratory paths important
And they must underpin
The dolphins will to get there
Where ever they must go
Not end up in some filthy harbour
With nothing left to show

But tattered sinew and loss of blood
And a Turkish point of view
They are phased and crazed completely
And they don’t know what to do
This demonstrates a chaos
Within the pod at sea
Within their hearts and feelings
Where it should always be
